Here is a clip that is a European version of the clip from Onion news. This clip actually shows up in an explicit way how the images in public service TV news are used. An excellent clip to discuss news – what is news? How do you sell news? Why does the news look the way it does? And what is not news? This clip should also be close to mandatory when teaching about television news in school.
